Root River Baskets are made using a coiling technique. First, strips of fabric are wrapped around a rope, then stitched by a sewing machine into all the different shapes and sizes. The stone on each basket is unique… each stone has a NATURAL hole! The stones are found on the rock bars of the Root River in SE Minnesota. Beautiful, functional, and decorative describes Root River Baskets made by Lori Hungerholt in Rushford, MN. You’ll be sure to enjoy her colorful booth display of baskets.
